Damn, That’s Divine
When walking away becomes holy. Brain-based reconstruction for the post-religious, nuanced, faith-fluid, and courageous questioners. Completely dogma and woo-free.
From Certainty to Self-Trust
Leaving or shifting your beliefs after a lifetime of devotion is disorienting — even destabilizing. When I left Mormonism in 2023, it was the hardest thing I’d ever done. But as raw as deconstruction was, I found that reconstruction can be even harder.
The brain still clings to certainty. It still searches for gurus with answers, familiar rules, and clear structures. And in the spiritual gray space that follows high-demand religion, it’s easy to swap one set of beliefs for another — without ever coming home to yourself.
This is where Damn, That’s Divine begins.
This Is for You If…
This space is for those who want something deeper than doctrine and freer than woo. It’s for the ones who’ve left — and for those still inside a high-control system trying to show up with nuance, self-trust, and courage. Whether you’re a theist, atheist, agnostic, or somewhere in between — I hope this will be a safe place for you.
What is “Brain-Based” Reconstruction?
Even at my most orthodox, I had a love for psychology — and when my faith began to unravel, it was brain science that helped me make sense of the confusion, triggers, grief, and trauma that surfaced.
Understanding how my nervous system had been shaped by high-demand religion changed everything.
Here, we practice brain-based reconstruction — meaning we don’t just dismantle old beliefs. We rebuild your relationship with your own mind.
Through trauma-informed tools, nervous system education, and deeply reflective growth activities, we help you get to know yourself — maybe for the very first time.
And to be abundantly clear, this is not another belief system - this is science-based growth, and it’s completely led by you.
You might feel that you are broken or lost. I believe you are taking the first steps to becoming. And damn…that’s divine.

The Podcast (Coming soon)
In each episode, we explore what really happens to the brain in high-control environments: how shame gets wired in, why your nervous system reacts the way it does, and how spiritual obedience may have silenced your inner compass. Most importantly, we help you meet your mind in new ways as you reconstruct a life full of meaning and purpose. Your way.
